MonkSweet: The Easier Sugar Swap
For most of us, sugar is part of the daily routine. A spoon in the morning chai, another in the evening coffee, a little more in dessert. Cutting down can feel hard, but you don’t have to give up a sweet taste to do it.
What is Monk Fruit?
Monk fruit (Siraitia grosvenorii, also called Luo Han Guo) is a small green melon native to the mountains of southern China, where it has been valued for centuries for its clean, intense sweetness.
Its sweetness comes from compounds found in the fruit called mogrosides, not from sugar. Mogrosides are around 150–250 times sweeter than table sugar, which is why you need only a tiny amount.
How MonkSweet Is Different from Sugar
Sugar adds calories with every spoon. MonkSweet gives you a sweet taste with no added sugar.
Because it’s so much sweeter than sugar, a little goes a long way. 2 small scoops (1 g) give the sweetness of 3–4 g of sugar, about one teaspoon.
Why Monk Fruit + Soluble Corn Fibre Works Better
Monk fruit on its own is so intensely sweet that it’s hard to measure. Even a pinch too much can overpower your drink. That’s why we pair it with soluble corn fibre.
✔️ Easy to measure: The fibre adds body, so every scoop gives you the same, predictable sweetness.
✔️ Dissolves easily: Just add it to your drink and stir. No need to sprinkle slowly.
✔️ Smooth mouthfeel: It blends into your drink without a gritty texture.
✔️ No sugar alcohols: MonkSweet contains no erythritol or other sugar alcohols, just monk fruit and soluble corn fibre.
What’s New in Our Formula?
We’ve improved MonkSweet based on your feedback. The new formula uses soluble corn fibre as its base, so it now dissolves easily in your drink. Add 2 scoops, give it a quick stir and you’re ready to sip.
How Does It Taste?
Smooth sweetness with no bitter or lingering aftertaste.
Start with 1 scoop if you like it less sweet, or add one more if you prefer it sweeter.
Where Can You Use It?
- Your morning chai or filter coffee
- Cold coffee, iced tea and lemon water

Earthful’s MonkSweet is free from sugar alcohols - giving you clean, natural sweetness that’s kind to your gut.
